PADS Fundraiser and Bowls

The Cowichan Lawn Bowling Bowls and Burgers PADS Fundraiser on July 29/25 was a great success.  Twenty-nine people bowled; 50/50 tickets were sold; and a great meal was served to thirty-six people. There was a demonstration of skills from PADS dogs, Desi and Panny and the people they assist, Cindy and Anya.. Thankyou Anya for coming all the way from Chilliwack to join us. The total amount raised was $2000.00 from all the donations. A special thanks to Rob Jones for donating his winnings from the 50/50 raffle back to PADS.  A big thanks to PADS for all the prizes for the 50/50 raffle.  Also, a big thanks to Thrifty Foods and Save-on-Foods for their donation that covered the meal. They are a great community support.
