Fish Fry Breaks a Record
On Sunday, May 24 a record number of 55 people came out for fish and chips with 35 of them bowling 10 ends before dinner. The weather was perfect and so was the food. Chuck Cooke ran the bar and Vicki and Wayne cooked the fish and chips just right, as always. As if that wasn't enough, there was blackberry crumble and ice cream for dessert. A lot of people worked hard to make this event a huge success. The Stars of the Show - Wayne and Vicki Hankins Our always smiling barten

Opening Day for Members
Perfect weather brought out 37 bowlers and several spectators on May 2 for the first day of CLBC bowling in 2026. It was surprising how well people were able to bowl after a long winter off and some excellent bowling styles were displayed, as the following pictures show. Players stopped for a lunch of hot dogs, (beautifully cooked by Chuck Cooke), chips, and pop. Emily Westgate won $100 in the 50/50 draw. The day began with the singing of Oh Canada and the raising of the flag
