Ladies' Singles Championship

The Ladies Singles Championship was contested in hot, sunny weather by 10 very worthy Players in a 2 Section Round Robin of 4 games and a Bye. In A Section, Maria Ridewood was successful in winning all 4 games with some very tight games. In

B Section going into the last game of the day there was a possibility of 3 players being tied for winning the Section and indeed Chris Chesal was the Section Winner through being a previous game head-to-head winner. It was very close, but Maria closed out the Finals game with 2 high score Ends. Many thanks to our Markers, Dawn, Debby, Ross and Bill F., who each marked all 5 Rounds.
