Labour Day Jitney

It was a beatiful sunny day for the Labour Day Jitney on Sept. 1. Thirty-five people played three games of bowling to a mat placed in various positions on the green. It was a fun and challenging day, organized by Sheila Wethered and Vivian Bleeks, with a lunch between games which included delicious desserts baked by Vivian. The winning team was Debby Davey, Bev Southerland, Chris Chesal and Bill Younger followed by Penny Irvine, Duncan Locke, and Emily Westgate in second place and Jeff Doskotch, Chuck Cooke, Jean Swann, and Garry Poirier in third place. Jeff Doskotch won the 50/50 draw.
