How to Stack Backboards and Plinths

The team was busy this week moving the timber for the backboards and plinths to Gord Hamilton's shed for storage until needed.

The timber is Yellow Cedar. Yellow cedar is very resistant to decay and insect attacks. According to the internet, each board weighed between 70 to 90 pounds when the wood is dry. These boards must have been wet because they sure seemed heavier than 90 pounds.

Here you can see Jim, Tim, Gord, Bill, Doug and Steve unloading and stacking the timber. Our thanks to Gord for providing shed space to store the wood until we need it.

After the work was done, Tim treated the team to some very good home made brew at his house. Not a bad way to start a Monday morning.

Thanks Tim and Gord.
