Fourteen BSI teams (42 players) came to CLBC on June 10 and 11 for some excellent bowling and lots of fun. Ross Bulley organized the tournament and Reen Lloyd organized lunch for the players on the second day. The final scores were close but first place went to the team of Lynda Robbins, Patricia Levie, and Marnie Dangerfield. Second place went to last year's winners Annie Mathie, Jill Foster, and Cherlynn McArthur. Third place went to Betty McDougall, Cathy Robertson, and Brenda Thompson. A prize for the Most Supportive Team went to Jill Wake, Cathy Thomas, and Arlene Jones. A Cowichan team of Lori Brown, Vicki Hankins, and Janet Doskotch had a perfect end on the first day and random draw prizes went to Linda Turnbull, Louise Banting, and Anita Wah. At the awards presentation, Betty Locke explained how she, her husband Duncan, and Ross Bulley came up with the idea for this unique tournament.
