The Victoria Day Jitney, organized by Jude Cahoon and Sue Higbie, was held on Monday, May 22 and was a success. 37 people came out to try the challenging games of Bowl to the Equator, Bowl to the Centre, and Avoid the Rabbit Hole. It proved to be as much a challenge of reading the instructions as bowling. The day began with a Spider and this was won by Duncan Locke. For the other games the winning team was Jim Irvine and Penny Stephenson followed in second place by Betty Locke and Gord Hamilton. Third place was a tie between the teams of Ian Hammocks, Penny Irvine, Val Ehrman and Tim Stephens, Carol McCoy, and Ken Kidd.
