We very much appreciate all the members who came out to our event today. We were not expecting such a large turnout. By 2 pm, we had sold about 80 locker keys. Thank you very much for your support.
It was also great to watch the bowling.
The greens are a bit slow still. I think Ross said that the bowls are rolling at a 9 or so seconds before they stop. We want to get that number way up into the mid teens. This week we will be adding our second sanding which should speed them up.
But, everyone I asked said that their bowls were drawing equally when they are delivered from either side. That was our primary goal throughout this project. Getting it level. Over the remaining few weeks in July we will continue our efforts to improve the playing surface . Come August 1st, the bell will be rung and it will be time to Play.
