Opening Day for Members

Perfect weather brought out 37 bowlers and several spectators on May 2 for the first day of CLBC bowling in 2026. It was surprising how well people were able to bowl after a long winter off and some excellent bowling styles were displayed, as the following pictures show. Players stopped for a lunch of hot dogs, (beautifully cooked by Chuck Cooke), chips, and pop. Emily Westgate won $100 in the 50/50 draw.

The day began with the singing of Oh Canada and the raising of the flags.

And through it all, Panny waited patiently.
