Day 18 - Plywood Sheeting

We had a bit of a break from work this week as we waited for the steel roof and the plywood sheeting to be delivered.

Once the materials was delivered, It didn't take long for Mark, Jim and Mike to cover the exterior walls. Then Mark used his air nailer to carefully put some of the 1,600 nails needed to secure the plywood to the studs.

While we waited for the siding, Mark built these Knee Braces to hold up the extended gable overhang at the west end of the shed. Don't they look strong and attractive. Kind of like all the male bowlers in the club.

Next week we hope to be adding the steel to the roof. We may cement the floors next if the weather cooperates. If not, we will start putting on the hardy board siding.
