Congratulations Erik Friedlander on coming second in the BSI Novice Men's Singles Tournament at Gordon Head Lawn Bowling Club on September 3 and 4. Erik played very well, making his coach Jim Irvine proud, and just lost out in the final game to Bob Cullen of Vic West. Ray Dilba of Oak Bay was third. David Gardner, the organizer, presented Erik with his envelope of winnings.
